Do I have to be on the server when he walks? Like, if he walks, is there a certain amount of time afterwards that I can join the server?

Unfortunately no, you have to be on IP before clone appears

The inaccessibility is what has drawn me in. I just made it to Baal with a summoner druid, so I like a challenge :)

You can create up to 20 games per hour. Create game, check ip, wait 60 second, leave, repeat up to 20 times per hour. In that 60 seconds, you can kill pindleskin, shenk, eldritch, sharptooth, or threshsocket.

If you do not find the right IP within the 20 games, wait 1 hour and try again. Creating more than 20 games in one hour will result in a 3 hour ban. I've done this and the ban is not fun.

or just wait 3 mins per game and no ban
