I stopped playing on the first start of D2:R because of how d2jsp destroyed the community and Diablo Clone runs. It become just an economic fight for selling Annies and finding spots.
Nothing was about playing and just purely enjoying the game and killing monster, just plain experience of fun.

Remember people together finding IP addresses and counting SOJ sold on old Diablo 2 LOD? Together not like a separate economic fight over Forum Gold for killing Diablo Clone.
It's weird that we made the Economic mess in a game like the Economic mess of the real world is not enough. I came here to play the game God damn it.

I heard that this Diablo Clone monstrosity changed and that everything is getting back to normal.

Is it true that Diablo Clone is now Region based not Address based?

I heard tinfoil hat is still valuable in some community as economy is still controlled by some guys trying to control economics across globe and now they were here also on D2JSP...

If seriously - SOJ's were now sold Hardcore/Softcore and Ladder/Non-Ladder and Region based. Clone walks were almost each day, in Saturday was like 5 walks in Asia during few hours and such events were at least couple of times per week. I would say - incredible amounts, really incredible amount of SOJ's sold - of course its not worth to give SOJ's for such events. Annis were cheap, yesterday before going sleep forgot to close game and Clone spawned again in Europe. Better worth to farm perfect gems for crafting. In this season as just random dude I killed more than 70 clones and I'm just casual player. And more than in 10 public games someone was faster then me in grabbing charm (I just killed clone). Just leave smiter or decently geared char in game for evening or few and you will get anni for sure. For couple of FG you will get unid one if you are busy and do not want to have fun with killing clone.

The old lod was the same way tho. U had to find the ip that the people were selling on. That shit was hard as hell cuz of realm down.

Annis are dirt cheap…. You can just buy one for 4fg unid on ladder.
