just have everyone got to EU right now and sell that batch there since its 4/6 already! You might not even need to spend all your sojs !!!

I've mostly got people bought in from console for NA region. We'll let EU continue their slow public fund and do a full run on NA for all the donors.

or just tell all those NA console dudes to just log into EU. It takes 5 seconds

It sounds like you don't play console... it requires a lot more to get them into region specific games.

So I'm curious now, what's the deal for console players switching realms?

We have mostly AMERICAS region players on console. Some EU, and some ASIA. The regions are set by the consoles physical location, not a selection like on PC. In the case of Playstation, the region is set by Sony when you create your PSN account and enter address. You can spoof this by creating a sub account with an address in one of the regions you want to play in.

An easier workaround (about 80% effective so far) is having a US region player create game, invite the UK or Asia player to game, then leave. The other regional character is now in an Americas game.

It takes some time to work with players to get them into regional games and validate they did everything right. Flipping this to do it on EU or ASIA server for hundreds of US console players is something I'm not interested in coordinating 😅

Oof, I'm not surprised as that's what I expected, region lock based on console like everything else. That's a shame, and I'm sure you all considered something like hoarding them all on one account for one big trade but that's at the expense of everybody. I'll stand by D2 being a PC game, but hey I appreciate the console supporters so they need their anni too.
