One thing that helped me was hovering my mouse over an item in stash, I didn't do this and got kicked over night but since reading this tip, I have successfully been afk 24hrs. I just recently went for over 24 and got kicked. Unsure why but it didn't work for me beyond a day

blizz seems to have random updates very often so you have to make sure ALL clients are up to date on any updates the bnet app shoots out before you decide to park it overnight/leave for work in the morning.
Also if you have a weak system like me (my laptop only has 16gb ram), so i do loose my 2nd client quite often when i leave it afk (it likes to dc me back to lobby).
