what is the real life equivalent to this situitation so i can understand better?
if you bought a plane ticket and was given the wrong terminal, can you sue the plane company for damages?
does that change if you show up to the airport with 39 extra carry on bags? you were going to pick up some nice nfts to put in your bags to sell to a group of online cybergaming degenerates but cant anymore, so can you sue the airline for your potential losses?
Real life would be:
CEO goes to private investors with future plans for the company (this is all recorded and public info)
Investors make their preparations with this information they were given
CEO has deliberatly spread misinformation to his investors
Investors gets mad, they were duped
Investors starts a lawsuit
CEO goes to jail
some changes will have to be made since not every countrys law is the same but the outcome is equally probable
