We do keep some of the change, we use other sojs to invest back into the group as incentives to help build things such as documents to guide people through the process, and also refunds to people in very particular cases... any excess of this was in the process of going towards a pool man, that was for veteran members to get a completely free run. The sojs had a lot of uses, and I felt like why should it be obligatory to state what happens with it here in the forums. When you join, it says clearly in the rules what happens.
