It isn't a mistake. It is smart. As for me, I was walking when SOJs were prohibitively expensive. You have to make concessions and compromises in the real world man. And there is nothing wrong with benefitting a bit from benefitting from the community at the same time. Humans aren't saints. We give and and we get. That's how the world operates. Even in the case of a fully public walk, people benefit from clout. You can't win. If you hate streaming and streamers that's fine. But for many people they provide an important community and connection to the games and activities they enjoy.

You can earn clout by saying you are organizing an event with the DATE TIME and REGION.
WITHOUT having users to log on twitch to find out where to go.

Usually, in the real world, people don't just buy 100 hamburgers themselves. They front their own donations and have others donate as well to make it happen. And there are usually news cameras documenting good work. Why? Because we want to encourage it. Cooperation and building. Streaming does that. Sounds like you don't understand human nature. Which is fine. But you do have to come to grips with that.

Thanks Jayan. I merely speak for the people. I love this game and things like streamer promotion ruins the game. Only them and their viewers benefit. The entire community loses.
