Some people want it private because the trading value of the Anni's after private walk is way way higher than what it would be the trading value of exposed public walk.
From my understanding I could even do 5 second effort to quote their own words "1st HC dclone walk for the HC community" on the initial post. However that statement is straight forward meaning that they should not hide. Most soj contributers would love to have it private since they mainly aim to generate profit off of it, not exactly that they need Annis.
If I was the streamer/initiator myself I would make it public - open stream and get thousand dollars from dons and subs just like it happened with LuckyLuciano once he started public Dclone walks on softcore ladder But that's just my opinion

Think some people forget that russiabank didn't ask for this, he was asked to do this, and being one of the highly viewable and respectable members of the community he stepped up to make it happen before the RMT overlords living in there basements made a power play.

This man speaks the truth. You want to hunt for free, then hunt like it was intended. If you want a guaranteed anni, cough up the SOJ. It's simple. Obviously Dclone spawn is for the community as Blizzard intended. If everyone was to sell their "spare" SOJ occasionally, Dclone would spawn at a random time. Is that not true? Isn't this how it was designed to be? Or maybe Blizzard designed it so that a small group of individuals gathered together and spawn Dclone together. Regardless of what the intentions were, you still have a shot at your free anni if you don't want to be a part of a movement. But the information of where and when, is privileged to those that are willing to donate to a cause.

Stop complaining that the information is kept private. You have a choice, be a part of it, or hope to be a part of it. Simple

Also yea not everyone can afford SOJ's but thats why its on the people who can to pull the slack and get it done.

If i really want to be Honest about Blizzards design regarding Soj's Dclone food in the first place I can be as honest as I can ever be --- Dclone appeared almost 20 years ago in 1.10c or 1.11 ? Don't quite remember but we all do remember the Dupe fever diablo has had and the Trading currency wasn't Forum Gold or other coins... It was DUPED sojs back in 2002 if I am not mistaken. So after that Blizzard ( my opinion ) decided to make this billions of duped currency used for something ( e.g. to be Sunk for something ) - Next patch voala - Dclone spawn after selling duped sojs in vendors. But after that since WoW released and Blizzard neglected Diablo 2 until even today - It remained the same despite being terrible design in the first place.

There are HC dclone killers for ppl who donate sojs, i believe bytezz is the person maybe want to doublecheck on that
