Whens the walk

id imagine when the soj's are collected but then again its better to just spam people with stupid questions instead.

Will try again on the next ladder season guys. Haven't gained the traction and HC is slowing down. If there are other groups, I highly recommend everyone coming together to make one happen! ♥

If there is another group going, I'm down to also give 1 other to their collection. I'm holding off with my walk for now until next ladder.

Hey, I'm honestly wondering why you've stopped your HC run? I get a lot of HC interest, and I typically send those guys over towards the most active HC effort I see. Primarily bc I don't have a HC character lvled or geared to help out personally. PM me if you'd like to coordinate an event. I wouldn't mind dipping my toes into the HC realm to help keep the annis flowing for the guys on HC too. I've got a lot to learn when it comes to HC though.

I waited over a week and there were only 2-3 people that wanted in. The HC playerbase is about 5-10% of all players for D2R. It's just tough. We've only had about 4-5 walks here on HC so far this season.

Yeah, it's def a smaller playerbase for sure. I'd expect soj collection periods to be much longer than SC. I'd expect the buy in to be much higher % though, since walks are so few and far between. A week can be a very tough timeframe, even for SC efforts. Hence why I questioned why you'd hang it up so soon. I think you could keep collecting until you have enough (just be open with donors). Also, I may be able to help get the message out. I just need to know there's someone willing to help kill the big guy. I also should probably get a HC char lvled and geared ..

There were several HC public walks being organised at the same time as yours. Some were being run with greater transparency (ie. organised by streamers with an established community, collections/donations/walks all done on a livestream), which most people would probably prefer donating to over an anonymous poster in general. This split the donor pool among multiple walks. Now all of them have been cancelled, all for the same reason - not getting enough sojs. Any walk now may fare better than the last few public ones. I know I'm keen to donate an soj towards this, having ripped enough anni's since the last HC walk to be keen on this.
