Literally a trash geared Sorc can kill Diablo, you just want enough HP and Res to tank a few hits to make it easier for yourself. If you die or town for too long, PMH will reset (hence why you want your Merc to stay alive and to keep pots), but as long as you can do decent damage and you can kite, Palace 3 Diablo is fairly easy to do. I like Cold the best because with Mastery, you'll be doing more damage to Diablo than the other chars for what little you have to use.

I found that if you're in town for more than a minute or two, PMH will reset. So if you die, and you have to walk from the beginning of Act 2 and revive your Merc, it will likely reset. That or having to buy a bunch of potions. With the caveats of PMH, you're gonna not want to town especially since it will still take time to kill Dclone if you're an ungeared Sorc.




Merc can't activate PMH. Otherwise everyone would use Bonehew and be done with it.
