How? If you didn't pay for his 100 sojs, why should you get the annis he paid for?

annnnnnd there it is.

Q: "why should you get the annis he paid for?"
A: Your question is flawed. This is a flaw that all the people in the anni market follow. The idea that they OWN the IP just because they sold a ton of sojs. Blizzard owns the IP. Not you. Not me. Not the guy selling 100 sojs. I know the guy selling 100 soj would like to maximize his profit and get every game on the IP but, unfortunately for him, that's not how the system is set up. The system is set up in a way that allows for the possibility of random people to get a free anni without selling any of those 100 sojs.

Last season, an IP had a soj sale. I posted it here on jsp. I soon got a pm from the person in the anni market who prepped the IP. Here's the pm with the name removed:

"this is my ip. i need to direct traffic away from it at all costs. can you ghelp me out? i can thrown in some unid annis for ya..."

Read that first line again. "this is my ip."

That's the flawed thinking of the people who run the anni market.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with WANTING a free anni.
There's nothing wrong with GETTING a free anni.
There's nothing wrong with trying to find a hot IP.

You're not following the original post.

I'm not saying he should be forbidden from getting free annis.
I'm saying he is not entitled to a free anni just because he wants one.

He's arguing that people who do private walks are bm because they're not giving him free annis. If I do the work, I am free to decide whether I share the walk time and ip with people.

It is not my ip. It is, however, my 100 sojs being consumed. If you do not contribute in any meaningful way there would need to be a compelling reason for me to intentionally undermine my returns from the time and fg I put into those 100 sojs. If you happen upon the ip I am using at 4am and get an anni out of it, good for you. If you don't, don't complain. Your time or fg investment in my walk was zero. You lost nothing.

I agree with you that it's not BM.
I agree with you that leechers are not entitled to free anni.
I agree with you that there is no compelling reason to announce the IP.

It's just that the way you worded it:

"why should you get the annis he paid for?"

Makes it sound like you were implying that the soj seller is entitled to all annis produced from his walk.

Now, it seems you weren't implying that and we both seem to be in agreement on all points

I have done free walks in the past but I doubt I'll do any in the future. Even when I'm doing a free walk there's always someone who complains. Either they don't like the time of day or they don't like that I didn't give them enough advance notice to find games. People complaining that free stuff isn't convenient is almost as irritating as people telling me I'm rude for not giving them free stuff.

Best way to fight with those "anni mafias" is not buying unids from them at all. From start of this leadder ive seen one sojo sold on game, then i see guy posts "UNID ANNIS 999999999999fg PER, 32 IN STOCK"
How the **** he have 32 annis, nice nice, **** this.
I will never buy unid anni.

Well, it seems that the community is finally waking up and trying to solve that problem !
I'm happy to read all that comments and if you want to do some walk, I'm in with 5 sojs atm.
I will try to buy more but I'm not so rich to make a walk by myself.
