Oh, I know how to circumvent the temp bans. It's still slower than I can manually create games. It's also stupid that the mechanic encourages me to spam create games to try to find him (which they obviously don't want you doing as it creates additional server load and there's the temp ban to stop it). It's also stupid that the game provides no interface or warning for your game join/create limit. If you're just a normal user who doesn't read forums and participate in the "metagame outside the game", there's no way for you to know how the temp ban process works. A casual player just says "WHAT THE F*** WHY IS IT BANNING ME" and gets frustrated. That's poor game design.

Edit: I'm sure they realize most of these issues, but this game is old as hell, so it's unlikely that it would be a good manpower/business decision for them to dedicate resources to fixing it properly. I just wish they had designed it better in the first place, or that it's fixed in 1.13 (it probably isn't). I guess that's enough venting. :P

Are there any tricks other than "create as many games as you can without getting temp banned" to get on a specific server? The last 2 times I tried, I created 30-40 games and never got on the ip I wanted. It's getting old xferring my one anni back and forth, hoping that bnet dosen't poof my game while it's on the ground. Plus, 19/10/9 isn't bad for my first one since starting back, but could use some improvement. :P
