This is actually a really good idea. A slight sliding scale donation/reward scheme wouldn't really change the structure much, but could make for a better incentive/reward structure, and might result in the walk happening many days sooner than it otherwise would. Something like the following:
1st 75 donors: Guaranteed full info for 1st & 2nd walk (There wouldn't be a realistic chance of having more than 75 left over sojs, so if giving info to 2nd walk is designed to be a sort of fair repayment for extra sojs, then rewarding the early donors makes sense as they lose more value over time, they are the ones who make the biggest difference as after the half way mark the momentum tends to carry its self pretty well, the longest hardest slog is the first half of the donation cycle)
76-125 donors: Guaranteed info for 1st walk only. You get nothing else regardless of # of sojs left over. If you want a guaranteed slot on 2nd walk then hustle up and help get those donations in faster to make top 75!
126-200 donors: If you miss the actual 125 allocated slots you can still donate, but you have to donate twice the price (2sojs) and you get info for 1st walk only. you get nothing else regardless of left over sojs. (little tax for being a slacker and donating after the deadline. (These sojs go to next walk along with extra left over sojs - this would of course require there to be an additional walk))
