But seriously, how much easier would everything be if there were no timezones and everyone used the same time? Sure it would mean that for some people the sun comes up at 00:00 and for other people the sun goes down at 08:00 but that won't matter at all. It'll just change the conventions regionally, as in, you would get up at 16:00 or something instead of 06:00. Pretty sure that after a year of getting used to it would be worth the tradeoff. (yes I am a salty programmer who has had to make programs work with timezones one too many times)

tbf, am already using utc on erything that has a clock even tho it's not my local time, just have to keep track of the change from summer time to winter time and doing the conversion in my head when looking at a clock to know current local time, pretty easy to get used to ngl
