Game name is useless. You need to post the following info:
server ip address
realm name
number in the last SOJ sell message.
estimated time the last SOJ sell message happened.

That's not how any of this works. Nobody is out here joining random games waiting for dclone to walk. Joining some random public when you don't know how close it is to walking is a complete waste of time. The game could potentially take days to actually walk. Nobody is going to do that. The info is useless. Please read the forum sticky to learn more about dclone hunting.

so youre saying they couldnt have joined the game themselves, seen the IP then hunted that on another load..?

He's got more years here than you have weeks.. maybe a bit of respect should be given? Not to mention admitting you're absolutely wrong..?

The game was probably alive for maybe 5 minutes after he left it. Do you expect anyone to be lurking this forum every 5 minutes to be ready to join random games and collect ips? And when they do join, how would they know the soj count?

If the game name is so useful, then you tell me the ip. Tell me the count. Tell me whether it walked or not. Tell me anything useful from the game name. You can't because the game name is not useful.

The great thing about this forum is that you can find a thread for a given IP, see the count that it last walked at, and see the time that it walked at. This information is useful for predicting future walks. This thread is not useful for predicting future walks.

I’m gonna assume given the game name that it was bot hosted, and by default the settings will have the leader wait five minutes in between sales, so I’d say by bare minimum it would’ve been ten minutes. But still the point stands, there was a use for posting the game name. Was it the greatest information? No.. but with thirty seconds of time you could load D2, enter the game and run ipconfig..

Then you yourself could have posted the information you came seeking to help others. I’m not trying to jump down your throat on this, just disputing your post with facts, and they speak for themselves.


Also, you can subscribe to an entire forum and get a notification for every new topic/reply. I don’t recommend it, as it’s a clusterfuck of notifications, but still an option!
