How are you able to trade / drop this I thought you couldn’t drop items if person wasn’t in game when it dropped

This is pre-patch expansion when items were still available for trade with anyone, and the auction house was still active. That's how I know it's the only full set in existence for trade. There is one other trader on jsp who sells a full zombie dog set thats tradeable.
