He really tried to get me to send everything first but when I refused he PM'd me back saying he'd buy me out. I told him to do small transactions with him sending first then he just sent all hsi fg so I gave him the gold. I didn't know he was a scammer though

Not a problem. I'm guessing he bought this d2jsp account and cashed out for archeage money trashing the account.
