If you buy gold from someone who botted, hack, exploit, you will get ban. Especially if you traded huge amount, they will think your trading the gold from that account that is about to get ban to another fresh account.

Gold buyers are not getting banned. If you bought gold from someone who obtained it through illegitimate means, then you will end up losing the gold.

You would not have gotten banned for simply buying APEX from someone.
Two options:
1) You used an illegal 3rd party program.
2) You were banned because of an unfortunate false positive, which Trion has admitted to doing many many times.
Request an unban via their ticket system. Even the botters are able to get unbanned, it shouldn't be too hard.

But where does the gold originally come from in the bigger jsptreads? I dont think they buy credits in game just to sell it here:)

OP has got to be lying.
They do not ban people who are recipients of hacked items/gold, they simply remove them.
I imagine you would only be banned for receiving hacked gold if it was determined that you were the hacker yourself, on an alternate account.

It's a pity. A lot of people were banned for nothing. Trion is going for the wrong way.
