I am not certain you're right about that, but I can't be bothered to go dig through the forums for the post about winter stress testing.

I know you're wrong about the hoverboard being given away after launch. That was specifically stated on the beta forums and a gift to people who have participated in beta and would not be available after CBT ends.

I lied I found it easily.

DON'T MISS OUT!

During the Winter Beta, you'll have a limited opportunity to earn some awesome items for your character at launch. All characters that reach level 10 during beta will be mailed a sweet hoverboard. Mounts are normally accessible at level 25, but this hoverboard will allow you to zip around Nexus in style earlier than usual during the beta!

After launch, you'll receive a free level 25 hoverboard in your mailbox as thanks for helping out during the Winter Beta.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!

After you hit level 7, for each week you log in during the Winter Beta, you'll be greeted with a quest that grants a single costume piece that's part of the Highwayman's Armor set. The piece you receive rotates during each week of beta, so you'll want to login four weeks in a row if you want to collect them all! (The week rolls over at 12AM UTC/GMT.)

Week 1 (1/8 - 1/14): The Highwayman’s Gloves
Week 2: (1/15-1/21): The Highwayman’s Boots
Week 3: (1/22-1/28): The Highwayman’s Pants
Week 4: (1/29-2/5): The Highwayman’s Coat

Edit : So you do get to use the hoverboard while playing beta earlier than usual, but at launch it will remain exclusive to beta testers only, but function at the proper level of 25.

no where in there does it say its exclusive to beta testers. you should take a few minutes to keep digging and have a better look at the beta forum. youll be able to find posts from the devs saying nothing offered in the cbt wont be available again after launch.

It clearly says LIMITED OPPORTUNITY, why the hell would they say LIMITED if it was going to be openly available after launch? You're doing no more than making assumptions. I'm going off recently posted facts from a staff member. Not wild conjecture by someone trying to backup their claims with no proof.

context bro, its talking about your opportunity to earn those items for launch. You wont have to do anything, theyll be given to you then. That doesnt say they wont be available to others at that time. PMd you a relevant thread and told you where to find more.

You can choose to view something in your own perspective if you so choose, however the rest of the world in REALITY recognize common English. Beta members had a LIMITED opportunity to gain items awesome items for our characters at launch. These were gifts, I beg of you name ONE time a developer rewarded its beta testers just to belittle those rewards by giving it to everyone else for no reason at all? The answer, never. Goodbye.

The thread you linked was referring specifically to an in game title which is not a material thing and had nothing to do with the hoverboard/vanity set which are items. you know, what we were talking about.

I truly hope an undeserving individual like yourself does not get what you're looking for. Especially after you've proved to be deceitful, and a liar.

since you wanted to skip teh quote from the thread, they say they are going through great pains to make sure nothing earned in beta cant also be earned in launch.--editing this part out--

actually nevermind, took 2 seconds to find on reddit

Actually the title isn't exclusive either, it'll be available for helping out with post-launch tests too (so says CRB_Cougar).

We're attempting to figure out good rewards to give in the beta that don't screw over folks who didn't make it in by sheer numbers, but the short form is our policy is nothing will be exclusive to beta reward wise.

If we do anything "OMG must get now only never available again" to drive some behavior (pre-order or whichever) we will broadcast it loudly. But in general we don't like too many if any of those because collectors will be annoyed if there is simply no way of getting them after launch.

so now that we all see youre a retard, you can excuse yourself. have a nice beta.

Weren't you the one talking about context earlier? People LOVE to see things the way they want to and NOT how they're meant to be seen. Read the fucking statement guy.

The operations title is something my team is going to have in our pocket from now until ... well forever. If we run an event on the PTS after launch and want to incentivize people to come help us, we'll give out that title then. It might be EASIER to get in beta than after launch, but it is absolutely not exclusive to Beta.

We are well aware that reward systems we create in beta should not only award those who have won the Beta Lottery and have taken pains to avoid that.

Nowhere in that statement which YOU DUG up do they mention that items which are awarded in beta will be available after launch. He refers to "rewards systems" meaning beta titles which is what the previous statement is about would be available AFTER the game launches. Yet again he wasn't referring to the beta items they've given out which is what the entire discussion was about before you decided to jump in and help the OP make ignorant and untrue claims.

Most folks have already covered it, but to give it the official Stamp of "Mmm smells like Carbine" Authenticity...
All the costume pieces you earn and the hoverboard, will be given to you in the live game (provided you unlocked them in the beta). I can't give any details on how exactly this is going to be done yet, but you'll get them. ;)
And yes, the costume pieces and the hoverboard can be obtained by players who weren't in the beta, you guys just get them for free as a way to say "thanks for helping us test the game and make it awesome". ;)
    Cheers,

want to further make a fool of yourself or are you going to call it here?
