About how much time does it take to get through those early 20 levels since I have heard thats the worse part of the game by far from a number of reviews.

One evening if you are time efficient.

You can go to bg's/dungeons/adventures after a few levels if you really can't tolerate questing. People have hit max level in ~25 hours though.. that's doing nothing but power leveling.

Do you know the best way to power level or is it just questing?

That sounds pretty quick. I remember after playing rift on a few characters at launch and restarting at the free to play I made a new mage and leveled it from 10-60 from bgs only, never had to leave town lol.

Although it'll take much longer if you haven't played yet.. Meh, if you really want to get the leveling over with it really won't be too long

Just goes to show how much distraction there is in this game to actually leveling.

Plus, if you have good quest memory like myself, once you've done it once or twice it becomes really really easy. Plus he probably has good weapons saved up etc, knows how to play and spec his class beforehand etc.

just a couple thoughts: i preordered yesterday and just played for the first time. I have to say i had a great first impression, and i do think this game is gonna be a success (coming from someone that has probably played more MMOs than anyone on this subforum). i LOVE the silly-ness theme of the game, although I'd imagine it may turn some people away. game feels smooth and different, yet familiar. got the deluxe edition off greenmangaming for only 60 bucks with a discount :). look into that if you havent preordered yet.

I want to get into it but the leveling is so slow.

You can do it in 25 hours apparently. If you want to level up fast just level up, don't do anything that doesn't contribute experience.

I didn't read all of this... but got the basics...just wanted to throw in a quick opinion...

I am loving this game, but having to hold down the right mouse button to spin almost made me hate it....especially since there is so much movement, after about 20 minutes of straight fighting your finger gets tired of holding.....

I just recommend turning the addon off if you aren't fighting alot as it can make normal clicking take alot longer (you have to unlock right mouse each time to use it)
