On september 11th 2013, more than 1.600.000 people, went to a human chain organised by ANC (Assembla Nacional Catalana), Catalan National Assembly. The route of the human chain had a distance of more than 400 km. 400 km in Catalonia and also some km in northern Catalonia (France) and in País Valencià (Valencia), this two regions also speak the catalan language.
This chain was organized to demand the right to recover the Catalans as an independent state had before the Spanish invasion in 1714.
