Wanna unload my fg for skins, but i am wonder - how do people usually go about trading in here?
What is the security like?
Any pitfalls i should know about? Besides the obvious ones in regard to any trading on jsp. But then again, things might also be different here (i only used d2 forums before)

e: I see its possible to request a mediator in here as well, but how does that even work with steam?

Use a mediator and you should have no troubles! Done 100k in trades in past week using them here

But isn't there a sort of timer on steam items, so the mediator would have to hold on to the item for a while, before being able to trade it with somebody? Literally never done any steam trading before

They hold FG, you guys trade, they send FG.

Once medi has confirmed you both want to trade, buyer sends FG to medi. Once they hold the FG, they will give you the link to send the item to. You send it, both parties confirm to medi, medi will send the FG.

once an item is traded, it can't be reversed (on steam).
the timer is you can't trade an item for 10 days after you receive it.

use a mediator on jsp and everything is smooth / no worries
