What are the requirements for a smooth trade?

Cellphone authenticator required?

Waiting time to be friends for a period of time?

Anything else?

Well first off you gotta find a deal with somebody.
If you use steam balance and buy something with balance it will be locked in your inventory for 7 days before you can trade the item.
So both parts needs to be committed to the trade. Bailing out is bad mannered.
Steam authenticator enabled and had it for 7 days minimum so you can trade instantly otherwise with skins.

I have done many trades with waiting periods. You are welcome to message me if you are looking to sell goods.

So there's no waiting period after you've become friends that you have to wait out? On skins now for example. Heard something about being friends for 14 days.

You don't even have to be friends. you can use a trade link. Theres no waiting period
Skins can be traded instantly but will be locked once traded for 7 day period.

If you have had ur steam auth active for 7 days and have no trade cooldown in the skins, ur all good to go
