Feel free to repost or bump this Public service announcement to spread awareness and stop this kind of behaviour.

Dont fall for the scammers that are asking 150-200 fg per dollar ratio. Normal prices are way lower than that and these people have no shame, so do the math and tell them to fuck off next time they are trying to overcharge you.

Do your due diligence and find out the right price before buying anything, there are scammers around that target exactly the new people to the game who dont know prices and overcharge them by up to 50% more than normal price and jsp wont ban this disgusting behaviour so they are encouraged to do it because they are greedy and have no character.

Currently in steam section 100$ balance is 13-14k fg so 130-140:1.

Skins should always be maximum that much because balance is always better since you can buy whatever skin you want + if you sell a skin on market you lose 13% market tax so în theory the ratio should be maximum 127% to account for that. Top tier / liquid stuff probably worth as much as steam balance though.

If you cant get the skins needed for under 150:1, just go and buy steam balance, no need to rush and give your fg to greedy scammers.

Also another scam is low volume knives, mostly stattrak or well worn that are just a couple on the market. Scammers will claim their items are worth the steam market price when the real value is well below that. Then they will say it's your fault for not knowing the real price, even though they know 100% what they are doing.

So double check Stattrak prices, when they are just a few on the market look at last sold, even that is not a very good indicative of real price, look at buy orders and csgostash average for last 30 days. ST knives should worth about the same as non-ST, sometimes less sometimes a bit more.

Thanks for posting this good awareness for everyone in the sub forum, especially as we get new people coming in for CS2.

Sellers should also read this and stop expecting 1:150+ and calling every other offer a lowball…

It would be really nice if people could actually buy/sell things here instead of just endless posts and bumps of people with all the same stuff and no actual movement of items.

Yeah especially people who are being pmed by warned % users, to call their items bad and lowball.
Those kinda people you need to be super suspicious about
If someone pms you and calls ur item in " bad shape" and a bunch of bullshit.
Be very aware, especially if the user has % warn.

What you say is slander based on envy, what i say is reality based on math that can be verified by second grade children.

Those warned people you are afraid to name are trusted enough to receive 200k+ fg upfront while the envious scammers are doing mediator trades for 5000 fg because people dont trust them.
