That's far from being true.

However the framerate shown is limited by the maximum refresh rate of the monitor.

Well with text having absolutely no indication of sarcasm....

There's tons of idiots who think the eye is limited to 60-100fps, So just assumed you were one of them :)

I'm for sure not one of them, I laugh at them as much as you do.
I prefer having 300-500 fps myself
