depends on the style u play and the bots u prefer.

If u already play a bot that does more damage then the others, then go for defensive avatars or delay reducing avatars.
If u play a bot which shots are easy, like a Frog or a Raon, then go for attack power. Since these bots with full attacking gear, can finish off someone pretty fast.
If u wanna make more and faster gold, then go for loot improving avatars.
If u are someone who "loves" to drop people off maps, then go for bungee power

so its really up to u.

a perfectly balanced gear for any bot with gold only:
chief hair
grey hawk
archangel body
robot x
all 3 stats are about 30 so it comes in handy.

Well personally I like this set up:
chief hair
napolean armor
and then I switch the flags and glasses depending on the bot I am going to use.
grey hawk / pet 02
ankh / robot x

I pick the glasses and flag depending on what bot I want to use. If I am doing to use lets say a boomer, which has low def and health but higher attack then I'd go for a lower attack build with more life and def.

But like MorphX said, it really depends on your play style.
