After using a handy dandy calculator:

50 ePoints = 1000 gunbound cash = $1.2

$1.2 = 38.1 fg
1000 gunbound cash = 38.1 fg !!!
Although that assumes the best rate of forum gold if you purchase $100, if you go with the cheapest option of $10 of forum gold purchase then

$1.2 = 46.5 fg
1000 gunbound cash = 46.5 fg

Several items in the game can be bought with gold OR cash, and the gold price is exactly 30 times the cash price.

1000 gunbound cash = 30,000 gold

I found an item that costs 500 cash that adds +44 attack and +25 health, nothing can compare to this for gold.. cash is better than gold.
For flags an item that costs 350 cash can outdo any gold item...
