How does that relate to trying to play d2 in .08 AT ALL? .08 is a patch which was replaced. If I still have the old CD or if blizzard still has the patches uploaded, I could be able to play in .08.

WC and Revolution are two different versions of the same game. NA is restricted by Revolution, but if I could mask the location to somewhere else, I would be able to play WC.

These are two completely different issues.

download hide my ip, install, use it to change your ip to somewhere in asia or oceania or something, and register a game id. worked for me lol.

the trial only gives you one IP to work with

and all the torrents are malware
