So, im just wondering when the 1-50 ranks come out next month, will it start everybody fresh? or continue matching you up with people in your "Trueskill" rank ? i can feel things are getting harder the more im winning etc and i know theres a hidden true skill in game, matching people up close to your level, skill, etc, somewhat.. so should i just trash my acct right now doing terrible until it comes out? or will ranking up be based on your # rankl ONLY search for people who are rank 1, 2, etc etc regardless of their "Trueskill" or level...or will that just be some added feature that doesn't hold any meaning and just goes up if you win.. (unlike halo 3 where it was all about # rank) and it will continue searches the way it is now?

hope people understand what im trying to say, cause i do, but maybe some people dont lol,.. im just curious

i guess it will be easy to tell when it actually comes out, just play a few games and if you play a couple games and people are low rank 1-5 etc then its fine but if you're finding people around your level, and the # rank seems to be random, then it might be back to its old ways..

Yeah i know, but i already knew the timeframe lol i was wondering about how it would search for games.
and yeah it's gay. you can literally get the map spawns of power weapons, get the ordinance cooldown perk and by the time you're out of power weapon ammo, you got ordinance..AND RADAR!!

I remember reading the new ranking system would start fresh at zero and not continue with you current hidden rank like they had earlier suggested.

After reading the source, it sounds like people are taking it out of context.

Here is what the source says (http://blogs.halowaypoint.com/Headlines/post/2013/01/23/The-Halo-Bulletin-12313.aspx):
• You will have a unique CSR visible per playlist.
• Your highest CSR across all playlists will be promoted in the player profile on Halo Waypoint.
• CSR uses familiar 1-50 scale.
• When CSR launches, everyone will start with a fresh rating.

Just because your highest CSR is promoted on Waypoint, doesn't mean ranks aren't going to be displayed in game... I think people are being stupid and paranoid.
