IMO 2 months in Halo 4 is a "better" game than Halo 2 or 3 were 2 months in. Not saying it would reach the level of prior ones at their prime, but I don't see why people gave up on it so quickly.
I suppose this is true, you do need to give them some time to tweak the game. The only thing that concerns me is that without it being on the MLG Circuit it won't ever have that competitive edge to it.
I hope they are able to resurrect the competitive community, but I think Reach ruined it for good. I remember playing Halo2/3 and basically every player having a mic, calling out things, etc. Now you could probably call out 'one shot' and nobody would understand what you mean...
