are you joking?
halo 1 you play on the silent cartographer map twice. you also play on the maw, twice. oh and you also play 1 1/2 levels where you save the 3 crash sites + reconciliation. + you go BACK on to reconciliation to save the commander or w/e.
halo 2 i cannot recall any backtracking or replay of the same maps. except high charity iirc where you go BACK to get that last council member and escape in his shuttle.
halo 3 go to cortana, save cortana, run back out with cortana.
dont remember reach. oh yeah ended really retarded-ly w/ him dying.
halo 2 was the least repetitive because of the arbitor and constantly going to different places for the elders
ehh, i felt like most the game was spent on what FELT like 2 missions on the fore runner planet was actually most the game.
Halo 1 makes it interesting going back though + first game in the series isn't going to be the fastest pace (usually)
Halo 2 was just fucking awesome.
Halo 3 somewhat of a point.
Reach ended how it was meant to be, the mission was getting master chief and the pillar of autumn the secret weapon (cortana).
The last member of the reach team (the recruit, rookie, w/e they called him) died because he was left behind and he kinda has to stay behind iirc
