the perfect steady aim is one of the top reasons why I stopped playing halo.
Take someone with me, with quick reactions and such, and it's just a snooze fest. Having spread/recoil allows for the need to predict quickly and react accordingly, much more challenging and fun for me, but it may differ for others.
It just doesn't fit Halo. Nor does it make any sence in halo. It's fine if people like or don't like it, the point is perfect steady aim is a core aspect of the halo series, and taking that away makes it just another step closer to every other FPS with a futuristic skin.
The guns are what made halo the game it was, and making the guns just like every other game makes Halo play just like every other FPS.
