I just herd about these not to long ago from a friend. Basically just go to halo.xbox.com and sign in with your gamertag. Then go to challenges and scroll down a little. You can set your own challenges up to get credits.
You can set them in custom games, campaign, match making, or firefighter and get a shit load of credits. Then set a time limit for them. The harder the challenge and lower the time limit you set it to, the more credits you get.
I did a challenge that was set to 500 medals in matchmaking and set the time to get it for 3 hours. Credit payout was 21k credits if i finished it in the time limit. 8 games of multi team and got it. easy 21k..
If done right, a new account can get an inharreter in under a month.
The reason I'm explaining this to you guys is I really don't give 2 shits for the ranking system in halo reach... Bungie ruined the competitive curve that halo 3 had by bringing in the COD ranking system... So in return 343 added these new custom challenges.
Went from brig grade 1 to brig grade 3 in a day. HF, and use the shit out of it. Best part is you dont have to worry about resets because 343 made it!
What you say is legit. I've tried this before (though I didn't know you got more credits for making the time limit lower), and I got about 5k credits for 400 matchmaking kills in 48 hours.
I'll have to set the time limit lower next time...
Thanks for the info!
