I was temporarily banned from earning credits on my account and xbox for no reason. I was playing last night for a couple of hours with my roommate and his girlfriend and he's not very good and his girlfriend has never played video games before so they were doing pretty badly. We got booted from games because they kept running into other people while in a warthog and we would get booted. After like 2-3 boots from games I was banned from earning credits.

Do I still post on the bungie forums or are there new forums now that Bungie doesn't own Halo?

The Bungie forums are still up and running. Bungie owns Halo Reach and 3, so there's no way they would ever take the forums down for those games. I'm not sure if there's a place to dispute this kind of stuff. At any rate, I seriously doubt that the ban would be lifted because it was your fault. Your best bet would be to just wait it out; I can't imagine the ban would be longer than a couple of days.

I'd honestly bet it's this. Can only get a certain number of cR per day to keep all the kids who "afk" games from getting 300k+ cR a day for doing nothing.
When I used to play Reach/Invasion with my team I'd hit the cR cap each day easy.
