Idk how many of you were around and/or remember, but when Diablo II was 'announced' ... but it did not release until nearly 3 years later (2 years and 9 months to be exact)

So I wouldn't count on D3 being released anytime soon, and any dates you may have heard thus far are purely speculation / rumors.

They confirmed they beta to be released by September 30th iirc.

Thats great news, but that doesn't mean the final game will be released anytime soon, but we can hope

They have been pretty on par with their beta final version transition. I was a part of both Sc2 and Cataclysm and both of those games released only a couple months after the beta ended. Then again, D3 =/= Sc2 or Cata.
