Here is my experience in buying something from Deezy:

We worked out the conditions of the trade through pm. The deal was $140 + $20 shipping for an Elite 360 package including controller, headset, and hard drive. Mike claimed that everything was mint condition. Because I have known him for years now, I took him at his word.

After I sent the money, Mike texts me and says something like, "I didn't realize it until now, but the spring on the USB port on the front of the box is broken so it doesn't look right. Also, there are some scratches on the back that I forgot to mention. Also, the xbox is modified with a GPU upgrade paste to prevent overheating."

Of course, this is not mint condition which was part of the agreement. He then offers me his newer Elite that is also "mint" condition.

After I sent the money to him via Chase QuickPay, I asked him to send the package and tracking code. He refused to send it and give me the code until the cash was 100% secure. We got into a bit of a disagreement about this, considering he first said he trusts me and then refused to send it even though I did send the money and he had accepted it. He said that is the way it works - that the seller doesn't risk the item, the buyer risks the money. The end result of this trade is exactly why I argued in the first place.

The Elite I received works fine. However, the power button is somewhat faulty. I either have to push on it really hard to get it to register, or run my finger around it in a circle to get it to register. The right bumper on the controller he sent me worked a little, but within five minutes of use did not work at all. When I messaged him about this, he said all it needed was a good cleaning. I do not have the tools to open up the mint condition controller to clean it out. And, I was not about to spend $15-20 on the specialized tool to do so. I tried to pry it open a little bit with my pocket knife so I could to spray some compressed air in, but the bumper snapped off. Of course, this is my mistake. But, the mistake could have been prevented if the product was in the condition it was sold as.

Furthermore, he forgot to send the headset with the package. I texted him about it and he admitted he did forget to send it and that he would. It's been a week or so, so I texted him again about it to no reply. I still have not received the headset.

Mike, please do not take this personally. This is just my side of the experience. In all honesty, I feel as though I have been taken advantage of. I would have much rather bought a refurbished slim that is actually good for its gaurantee, and then upgraded the harddrive. That way I would have had a working controller and it would have come with a headset and possibly even some XBL time. If you are going to sell something, at least be honest in your marketing.

Damn. While I trust you Keith, and we've done a Chase Quickpay thing before, I'm still curious to see what Deezy has to say since I <3 him as well.

I've been working 12-14 hour shifts all this week, i have not been able to get off work at a decent hour to go to the post office/fedex at all until yesterday, which i sent your headset out yesterday

The xbox i got for x-mas and had maybe 10 hours of game time on it, it is 100% flawless and pretty much brand new, i sent you my brand new one instead of the one that had a few small flaw on it, so there really isnt even a need to describe my flawed one in this thread, the one i sent you is brand new pretty much, and im not sure if you have owned a newer model elite before but the power button is kinda like a pressure sensitive button, its not actually a "button", thats the way the power button is .....

The controller is the only thing i sent you that isnt in mint condition, because my controllers have had alot of use and or have been modded, so i sent you the best one i had that wasnt modded

You know my phone number, you know my facebook, you know my address, was this thread really necessary ? But i get up at like 4 am every morning for work (its 3:30am now and im getting up for work) so when u send me a txt msg at 10 or 11 at night, i most like wont respond, as i am sleeping

In conclusion, i sent you an absolute mint elite 360, all cables (even threw in HD cables that didnt come with it) & accessories, but with a slightly worn controller but i did forget the little headset thing, wich i sent out yesterday

If you are unhappy and would like to send everything back for a refund that is totally cool with me, but come talk to me about it

Mike, the reason I made the thread is because you didn't seem to understand my point of you before when I had issues, and you still don't. The first problem I have is that you led me to believe the first Xbox was mint, and then after I sent the money you decided to tell me things that were wrong with it. Not only that, but you didn't even bother to tell me that your controller was crap. Yes, it's understandable that controllers go through wear and tear. BUT, I had the same controller for two years and it WAS like brand new when I sold it. I figured yours was only four months old like your xbox, and trusted that it would be in mint condition like you said.

The point of this thread is to verbalize my concern because this forum is the only point of accountability either of us have to this trade. Now, I am doing my best to keep you accountable by publicly posting this. I don't know your personal life, so when I don't get a reply from two different texts I begin to wonder. You could have at least messaged me when you actually did mail the headset - that way I would be a little bit in the loop, instead of just sitting here thinking wtf.

I sent you a brand new xbox .... so what is the complaining about what my other xbox condition is about? The one is ent you is BRAND NEW ... I told you about my other xbox because even tho it has a few small flaws it had some great mods on it, i gave you a choice of the 2, and during the entire time this discussion was taking place you could have retracted you money at any time, the deal was not done at that time yet, when the funds were actually confirmed good, i sent the brand new xbox out the same exact day, so again, im not sure what this discussion about my other xbox is even a point ....

The controller did show signs of wear/use, but i used it 2 days before i sent it to you to play a lil cod zombies, it had ZERO problem when i used it ...

The headset i did forget about was my bad, but i sent that to you, and i have answered every single one of your messages withing minutes except the one you sent me late last night when i was alseep, before last night not a single message has gone unanswered

Would you like to return it for a refund?
