Halo: CE - Played it every night with my brother and his friends, first game i got for my original xbox,

Halo 2 - Played it NON stop, bought live solely for this game, played casually but played all the time, mostly for 1v1 montage clips.

Halo 3 - Bought an Xbox 360, custom controllers, countless microsoft points, headphones, TV's, everything to play MLG competitively. Went to locals like NJHalo and Battlegrounds, and went to 2 events (last round AM) and produced a very popular montage.

Halo: Reach - Bought the game, played it for a week, quit competitive gaming, sold it back to Gamestop. Gave my friend (Warkid) my xbox, astros, viewsonic and gunnars. I am now deciding to play Black Ops professionally along with many other Halo kids like, Warkid, Factor, Beastmode, Demize, Phaint, Pitbull, Fletch, zNightmare, Ashes, Incessant, Xrossfade, and that's only the known kids i know of and can list off the top of my head.

Reach was the downfall of MLG for me.

I agree completely. I will never touch another Halo for the reason of wanting to win. Dick around with my IRL buddy, hell yeah. Play it and care, no.

He was still going hard in Reach at one point, and i had a new girlfriend who lived about an hour and a half away.
