Just out of curiosity, if there was an exact replica of Construct for Reach, would you even want to play it? Looking over the Halo 3 version, there are a few things easily adjustable to make it more competitive for Reach

- Jet pack pick-ups spawning on lower levels

- Increased size of top gold allowing players to regroup there and not get trapped

- Reduction of sword area (make it more of a spawning ground, and less of a power position against basement and bottom hill spawns)

- More pathways on upper, and perhaps middle level (possible 2 bridges that extend from top gold to mid open/closed street, in addition to the actual streets remaining walled off)

- Making it symmetrical with the top of Open street, and the bottom of closed street being mirrored (so more intricate paths from floor to mid-gold to either street

- Perhaps an adjustment to lobby, make it less camp-able

Lmk thoughts, if you have any addition thoughts on changes to improve it please share.

I'm not riding anything, that's why i wanted to change it, because it has flaws in its gameplay. People that want to play it shouldn't have to revert to H3 to do it, all you needed to say was "no, i don't want to play it" instead of being a dick about it.

every map has flaws, that's what defines them. making a symmetrical map is just boring and monotonous.

forge is used to CREATE, not revamp.

h3 construct, each area has it's advantages/disadvantages, like camping gold lift/purple lifts. the team that can hold those well and keep control of that area can easily rape the other team. using the "flaws" of the area allow the area to be unique.

I don't understand why you said that the Forge was used to create, not revamp. The forge is used to do whatever the fuck you want to. ;)

Inventors do not create things that are already created. That analogy is irrelevant.

Try something along the lines of:

You are private contractor. Are you going to construct a house, or add an additional room onto a house that is already constructed?

The point being, you can choose whatever you like.

so then every car is the same and has been since the first one?

nostalgia is fine but it's the same old shit over and over again for a reason. In an industry where new is almost always better, you aren't going to win people over with things they saw years ago.
