So as the title clearly states this is my take on Construct from Halo 3 in Reach. Its quite true to the original with a few tweaks here and there. There are screenies, just click the link -tS Pow

Judging it as a replica, it's terrible, almost none of the maps mechanics remain sword area isn't proportioned, no back jumps on purple lifts, no thick cover pillars underneath lobby at sword etc. As a revision, it's still sub par. Lines of sight need reworking, visual effects, add colours to the lifts, there should be a way to get from top middle to open/closed street. Basically it needs a lot of work, more than i can list. Also if it's not a replica, throw some originality into it.

Also i found myself hitting bumps in multiple spots on the map.

Overall: Needs a lot of work

Edit: Oh, and the ramp from floor to mid-gold is ridiculously steep. So after that, 3/10

Its a shame its not going to get anymore work. Since I'm done spending time in forge, and would much rather go rape fools online. Oh and BTW.

Middle drop down

I was never talking about the basics, it's the little things that make a map great, there were many fundamental jumps missing, some that you probably weren't aware of ex: jump ups on the backs of purple lifts.
Along with many jumps missing, many area's were tweaked, there are no indents where the maulers spawn, oh and you cant actually throw grenades up the lifts. Take out some of the ceiling pieces, add some lights, oh and from floor you can literally jump over your grav lift at purple, fall to the bottom, miss the bottom one, and walk out. Also top gold's is missing a couple key elements such as a glass floor to see people going back-mid gold, and there is a wall missing for people to bank grenades from back gold to top gold. As for originality the only original thing i noticed were the lifts from closed+open street to middle which shouldnt be necessary if you had proportioned the map better.

There are a few ideas that i had actually to make a "better" version of this map. The main issues were lack of safe ways to get to the upper levels, and breaking setups, none of that was addressed in your attempts at originality.

Honestly the title re-creation is just a mask for "replica with major flaws" and im sorry because i enjoyed construct. Bottom line, you picked a hard map to remake, but you still could've done a better job.
