i use bumper jump but its kinda shit for armour abilities

i use same, if you wanna use abilities u might want default, RB is still meelee

I used Bumper Jumper all through H3. I switched to Recon and it took me quite a few days to get used to it.

Also happy because Recon is similar to default, so now I can play H1 again.

Recon is default in every other Halo game. So you play it like Halo CE, 2, and 3.

Why they changed default to "Recon" is beyond me, I guess they wanted to start kids off with "Default" whereas melee is right bumper to promote better herp-a-derping.

I Always use green thumb, double beat downs are so much easier too, and abilities/aim and everything is just so nice. Ive been using since i started h2 haha.

and it works soooooo fuckin good on live(idk bout on LAN)
but yeah it's won me sooooooooo many br battles on h3 and on reach it's insane lol

I want to clear something up that's pissed me off since Halo 2. Ghandi Hopping is not just hoping around whenever the fuck you want while BR'ing or DMR'ing. Ghandi Hopping is when you jump and hit a ceiling and crouch as you do so it rockets you downwards to the ground throwing off people aim during fights. Not saying that's not what you meant Balla but it probably wasn't. That's all.
