I think I have a virus but not sure. All my windows keep freezing and won't close and when I try to open task manager the whole screen goes black and I can only see and move the mouse.

Know what could be wrong?

1 - Click Start
2 - Click Control Panel
3 - Recovery
4 - System Restore

Restore it back to like a week or something, if this problem consist's let me know, i will fill in the rest of the details.

yeah this and store all ur files on a recover disk , then do what he said.

reboot your pc.

on the startup loading screen, hit f11, run safe mode.

in safe mode, download spybot search and destroy, ad aware, hijack this, and malware bytes anti-malware. these are all free programs and it should get the job done. also if you're running firefox get ad-block plus, also free. it's an addon that disables all ads (even youtube ads), and gets rid of smelly pop ups.

if all is lost system restore back a week or so like theodore said.
