It was a bright day in the halo world. The sun was shining and the wind was at a steady calm breeze. A perfect day for a battle. A known warrior who likes to eat a little to much approached the battle field named Gilkey. Our teams squared off on my home turf, High ground big team slayer. I for sure thought we had this in the bag, surely an mlgpro was not a contestant when it came to the rocky surfaces of such a glorious map.
Beep, Beep, Beep
SLAYER
The battle starts at a quick tempo, both teams struggling for the lead, alas my team pulls to an early lead obviously due to Gilkey's lack of knowledge of how to Ghost properly. The battle is neck and neck at the twenty kill mark but still quite a bit of battle to rage on. Four down for our team, not good, Gilkey's Giant Gaywads ( His team name no doubt) were setting up to take map control. Gilkey promptly jumped into the ghost to attempt to wreak havoc on our team. Instantly he helps take the shields down of one of my comrades, this I cannot allow. I see the sniper, instantly I go for it, I know this is the only way I can save my teammate from a certain demise. I grab it just in time. Bam, down goes the grease ball. Instantly I fist pump in a glorious fashion, however no time to celebrate, there is a battle to be won. So our team battles, my sniping is keeping us close once I pick it up, I manage to get a sniper spree to fend off some enemies. However Gilkey is obviously getting his whereabouts as he is slowly racking up kills and my teammates are almost at a dead stop. Oh no, trouble was being sensed. From atop of the turret comes a dreadful force. The Giant himself jumps from the top turret screaming CHEEEEESSSEEEBURGERRRRR in a hunger filled rage. It was a time to act if ever. To protect my teammate from Gilkey's hunger filled rage I turned in a blazing speed of glory and quickly sniped him causing to do a triple backflip. Success, that will keep him down for a while. However the bottomless pit only became more enraged and I feared for my teammates safely. I instantly acted out of selfless need of my teams preservation and kept putting shots on the food fondler. This made the giant upset and kept going for me. However my keen awareness of the map kept me just out of his french fried stained grasp.
Oh no, the 80 kill mark comes up and we are trailing by 8, it was time to attempt to muster the confidence in my team. CHARRRRRRRGEEE I yelled, however the ruthless onslaught of the Giant Gaywads was too much for us to handle, my team slowly was getting picked off. Alas I see the source of our downturn, upon the laser tower stood a man firing fireballs of fury. No doubt he had the laser. I find the sniper yet again and act, but oh no, the Gilkster sees he while he is in the bunker and putts shots on me in an attempt to prevent me from taking down their advantage. No worries however for Gilkey isn't too bright, no doubt from that high Carb diet he inhales. Bam, a body shot, for sure I thought he would life, but no, the lack of blood due to blockage no doubt caused him to think popping out one shot was a good idea. Instantly I get a no scope to the body to allow me time to focus on the laser. I instantly take him down with two body shots. But it was too late.
The Gilkey's Giant Gaywads beat us due to my team mates not being too keen on the mechanics of how to properly operate a ghost and control the bubble shield. Alas it was a hard fought battle but in the end, the cheeseburger inhaler won.
This is a recount of my match vs Gilkey in SB just now. I was bored while playing this ring game.
Honestly thought there was a Bel-Air coming.
