When betting you dont have to have someone holding fg to have a bet. I do it in the sports sections occasionaly, some people either need a med, or if there trusted will take the money up front, others dont require it.
As for confirmation go back to my first post and read, how is that not confirmation?

He said he'd do it, you said alright. However he never confirmed it after you agreed to the terms. Meaning the bet isn't on.

He also said he wanted a 3rd party to hold fg for the bet. Since you never sent fg to an agreed 3rd party, you didn't meet his terms, so the bet wasn't confirmed.
