What type of scholars/grants/loans did you receive / have applied for?
I'm looking around and I am a bit lost to what I am looking at.
Your college may have some sort of unified scholarship application that you submit for everything they offer, check that out. Whichever college you go to, do a google search or look on their website for scholarship/student aid information.
Also, fill out a FAFSA (free application for federal student aid if I remember right) for government grants. They're awesome and you don't have to pay them back, but the downside is you (or your parents) have to have your tax returns and all that shit filled out and ready to go since they need that information.
Local community scholarships are a good idea. If you can contact your career center or w/e your highschool had, they're usually a pretty good source of information. They're pretty easy for the most part, just an essay usually. A friend of mine got a Houston Rodeo scholarship and had never been to a rodeo in his life, things like that. Easy way to get a couple-hundred to a few thousand dollars of scholarship money.
/e I dunno much about loans, I've been lucky enough not to have to take any out.
