the 460m is a stronger card, the 555m is a hybrid card with optimus technology.

While the 555 has more memory the 460m has less but faster (by quite some margin)

if alienware is on your purchase list the m17x is far better as it gives you true gpu options.

I never made a ridiculous blanket statement that needed evidence to prove. I simply stated that opinions are going to vary greatly, and this thread by itself is evidence of that. In addition, since I'm such a nice guy, I attached literally the first link on google about laptop brand reviews, and they went completely against what this GEZodiac kid is saying, which further reaffirmed what I said.

That chart was not evidence, it was the opinions of another person. If you can't make "blanket statements" about a brand, how can you ever decide which brand of computer you should buy? And how can you use that chart as "evidence" if making blanket statements is such a sin? In general, HP's and Compaqs are lower quality than Dells, Asus's, etc. Of course this is a blanket statement, but it's not an unjustified one.

Dell is crap. Asus is the way to go.

I've never had any problems with Dells, but a lot of people don't like Dell for some reason. Always been reliable and reasonably inexpensive.

The chart I provided is a perfect, acute example of my stance, which is that opinions vary greatly in regards to laptop brands. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with the chart says. I was merely showing that GEZodiac kid that him defending his ridiculous blanket statements by simply repeating "well everyone who actually knows a lot about computers will agree with me" is not only a very weak retort, but it is also flat-out wrong, hence why I posted a link from a group of people "who actually know a lot about computers" that completely disagreed with everything he said.

If you think an entire brand is shit then fine. That is your opinion, however justified it may or may not be. But if you tell that to someone who has half a brain, they are going to want you to provide proof, and "proof" does not entail just saying "well everyone who actually knows a lot about computers will agree with me."
