You are submitted into believing everything they tell you, and what more do you know when you are a child? Everything given to you is real at that moment and it's what you are going to believe from then to now.
It would make god imperfect if he made that type of mistake, but he made adam and eve who had the 'ability' to disobey him; that itself is already a mistake by God, thus he is imperfect.
he wanted to make people that have freewill. that doesn't make him imperfect he just wants people to have the ability to choose what they want
