I don't understand what you're asking for.
You're not giving enough information on what you want specifically, and if that website is all you're willing to extend yourself for, then tell me so I can choose for you.

Only from that site. Idk what games yet probably just d3/LoL if I start. Not much.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834220957 - 1850.
Good gaming, more on the side of work/other programs on the laptop - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230103 - 1800.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834230027 - 1150. What I use but this is 2nd gen i7.

Just from personal experience, Asus is by far most reliable compared to all the others I have previously owned.

Alienware is good, but they do cost much more than they are worth. If you don't mind the appearances, then really have the money to spend, then sure, go with AlienWare.
It's heavy, its really good with keeping itself cool, but a fan is always recommended.

My brother has an M14x customized at about 2,000. There hasn't been any problems with it except the fact that it collects dust like a magnet, but I can't tell if it's because of the fan he used or not. Really heavy though.

For a gaming laptop, I believe Asus is your best bet aside from Alienware.

mmmmm.. I can't say I'd choose any of them, but if anything, it would be the Macbook 13" or the HP Best/Executive. Though the last time I bought an HP I have never bought one from them, or any other products of theirs[ which I have bought as well ].

I would honestly pick something off of Newegg, it's cheaper for its quality, and just overall offer better stuff than your college.
College is just about making money anyways.

That one is for Hboy.

I don't know if you can play D3 on either but the Executive. Though, I tend to prefer good laptops that are reliable for their products and I just don't see any from personal experience.
Their graphic cards are terrible and integrated Intel HD 3000's.

As for Dell, I'd choose the one I posted in page 2 over those. Cheaper, same specs, and probably student discount.

My best opinion, none of them from that website. Save yourself the regret, lol ^^

They are from newegg....

@ Hboy, you could always customize your own @ XoticPC, if you want that instead I can customize one for you. Though I don't know if they void warranty's or provide their own.

saying hp is better than asus, immediately makes you a noob on the subject, keep thinking you know lots on the subject if it makes you feel important though.

@op.... pretty sure we have said msi/asus quite a few times. Mac if you want something 2x the cost.

Pretty much ask anyone with actual knowledge of computers from the computer subforum and they will say acer/compaq/hp are inferior and a bad investment compared to msi/asus.

LOL.

So your evidence is referencing the computer sub-forum on a video game website? Seriously?

Reading comprehension is obviously not one of your strong points. I'm not saying any brand is better than any other brand. I'm saying that demonstratively stating that "X" laptop brand is better than "Y" laptop brand without providing any further proof is illogical and downright silly.

I HAVE "actual knowledge" on computers. A lot of it, actually. And I'm telling you straight-up that results vary enormously. It's very similar to car companies. There are people who swear by a certain brand while others won't touch said brand with a 10 foot pole. It's all experience-oriented, I'm afraid.
