Halo CE campaign was absolutely awesome. I remember every friday and sat night my bestfriend n I would just play the campaign straight through for about a year straight and it never got boring. We would try and beat it faster and faster on Legendary, eventually being able to run through and skip half of levels becuz it allowed so if you didn't die and timing was done right.

Halo 2 was a lot of fun online because you could play with other people online from all over, but that is the time when MLG came out and I personally did not know anything about MLG until Halo 3 so I was oblivious to this level of competition. I do remember LAN parties where so much fun with Halo 2. Halo 3 was fun, more competitive (for me) because I found this site and about MLG so I was brought to attention the highest levels of competition, yet I could not reach the highest level personally (noob i guess). All of my local friends stopped playing with me because they didn't have fun because they didn't follow MLG and that skill level while I did therefore I shit on them all. Now with Reach, the local friends are playing Reach and through me are now more familiar with MLG and that skill level so they are closer in skill to me and the gameplay is a lot better than Halo 3 (imo) and I am having a lot of fun playing it and talks of LAN is coming back in the group of local friends, while there were no such talks for Halo 3.

in halo 2 i began quite fond of Swat, but in Halo 3, it was so much different. Now in Reach the Swat gametype is back to life in the best way with the DMR single round rather than burst.
