Why would the SEC be "afraid" of the cold? We can't help it that people prefer to go to bowl games where it is warm. I guess you didn't realize it, but bowls are all about money and like it or not, people prefer to go to games where they aren't freezing their balls off. Seeing how the SEC has dominated all of the "northern" teams for quite some time now, I don't understand why you would think we would be scared.
...and Notre Dame lost to freaking Tulsa and a Michigan team that Mississippi State flat-out destroyed this year. I'm pretty sure they are suffering from some down years right now and would be embarassed by a lot more teams than you think.
However, you can keep holding on to your archaic national championships that occured well before you were even born (and probably your parents as well) if it makes you feel better.
lol sorry they don't lose to FCS schools oh wait they don't play them, then why have sec schools, and florida teams refuse to play Notre Dame at home? same with usc, usc will only play notre dame at notre dame in the middle/beginning of the season, because it gets to cold for their "stellar" athletes, 1 sec school was brave enough to come play Notre Dame and they got stomped, Notre Dame played LSU in what was basically a home game for LSU. notice how the sec schools only play northern teams in bowl games? yea thats because they don't venture anywhere close to the north because they know they will lose if it is "chilly" outside, they played a shit michigan team the barely beat Notre Dame when Notre Dame's starting qb was hurt for the first half of the game and they had to throw in a true freshman and nate montana to play. omfg im so good lets play a school that is in its first year of football in the BCS (alabama), omfg lets play middle tenn state because we are too good to travel north to play in their territories so lets play them in bowl games which is basically home games for us because we already know we are #1, yep thats why they aren't #1 in winning percentage in the bcs era. hop off the sec's dick, no matter what type of season notre dame has if someone beats them, that team gets the highlights on sports center
