Serious question, is it possible to become "not lactose intolerance"?

So when I was young, I can't remember, but I think I was lactose intolerance to milk.
Well, now I drink it and it's perfectly fine, but I fart a lot. It could be the milk or Zaxby's chicken fingers and nibblers.

I guess what I am saying is, become more used to milk I guess.
